Chief Toyin Adeyinka

Founder

Academic Background
Chief Toyin Adeyinka in pursuance of the golden fleece, travelled to the United States of America in 1974 after his secondary school education. He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute, (A renowned Engineering University) where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 1978. Still thirsty for academic laurels, Chief Adeyinka bagged an M.Sc. Degree in Structural Engineering and Construction Management at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts in 1981. He has participated in a number of highly professional seminars, workshops and trainings in the field of Bridge, Civil and Structural Engineering as well as Real Estate and Business Management.

Career
Chief Adeyinka’s working career spans over four decades with active involvement with his chosen discipline of Engineering. He worked with San-Vel Concrete, Littleton as Quality Control Engineer and as Structural Engineer with Walter J. Hickey Associates, a subsidiary of Purcell Associate in Quincy Mass, U.S.A.

He was also involved with the planning, designing and execution of the industrial capital of Saudi Arabia (Jubail City).

Upon his return to Nigeria, he worked as Civil/Structural Engineer with Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and later as Chief Engineer (Bridges) with the Nigerian Railway Corporation. While in government service, he served as Project Leader on the Nigerian/Romania Counter Trade Project and also as Structural Expert on Sokoto Airport (Structural Failure). He also served in the Committee on the Re-negotiation of Onne Port, amongst others, before going into private practice in 1987. In his business, he has, by the Grace of God, conceptualized and executed a number of high profile projects worldwide including Bridges, Dam protective works, highway design, railway construction and maintenance, clay brick technology, buildings, etc.

His business diversification into Mortgage Banking and Real Estate has also exposed him to Mortgage financing.

Chief Toyin Adeyinka is Chairman/CEO of Sparklight Group, a holding company with five subsidiaries with integrated interests in Real Estate Development.
He sits atop the Board of Stallion Micro Finance Bank

Widely traveled, he has received quite a number of local and International Awards amongst which are:

Pastor Odeyemi Oladipo Oladeinde

Acting Chairman

Pastor Odeyemi attended University of Ibadan, University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom at different times. He qualified in Agriculture (Forest Resources Management), Monitoring, Evaluation and Microcomputing Application to Agricultural Project and Analysis of Agricultural Project respectively.

He is now a retired Permanent Secretary in Ogun State having served as Permanent Secretary in Ministry of Agriculture and subsequently in Ministry of Community Development and Cooperatives. A year after his retirement, He was made the Board Chairman of Community and Social Development Agency, Ogun State , a post he occupies till date. He is a member of PPAI Board.

Aje Afunwa Yewande Olayemi - LLB, B.L, MCArb, Q.Med

Chief Magistrate Yewande Aje-Afunwa is a graduate of Law from Lagos State University, Ojo and Nigerian Law School respectively. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Peace, Conflict & Strategic Studies. She is a seasoned legal practitioner who acquired her versatile legal experience at Lagos State Judiciary for over 25 years. Prior to joining Lagos State Judiciary, she worked at the Tunji Braithwaite & Co, and also at Bola Okegbenro & Co., where she was involved in core legal practice. She has a complete, extensive and up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal issues and judicial procedures.  Her ability to make independent, unbiased and fair decisions and proven records in pursuing justice under the law make her to be in good standing professionally. She is a lifelong public servant with exemplary performance evaluations. Due to her diligence, she rose to the position of the Chief Magistrate (Admin) at the Lagos State Judiciary with records of promotions and various conferences and workshops attended.  She has worked in different Magisterial Districts of Lagos State Judiciary with good records.

Professionally, she is a member of Nigerian Bar Association, Magistrate Association of Nigeria (Lagos Branch), Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, and Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association. Her commitment to work availed her privilege of special appointments in Lagos State Judiciary among which are: Member of Lagos State Judiciary Welfare Committee, Secretary to Bail Reform Committee, Council Member Commonwealth Magistrate & Judges Association (West Africa Region), Member of Lagos State Judiciary Criminal Justice Reform Committee. She is a Diocesan Solicitor, Ekiti West Anglican Church Diocese.

Adedeji.J. Adesemoye

Adedeji.J. Adesemoye is a retired Director at both CBN & FMBN , fmr Group head Analytics, Project & Special Examinations and subject matter expert, in the Other Financial Institutions Supervision Department (OFISD) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). His career has spanned over 32 years of financial sector development particularly in the areas of housing and MSME finance, banking regulation & supervision and capacity building and business process automation. His past 20 years had been spent on central banking policy, regulation and developmental interventions and cutting edge technology projects implementation which includes supervision of mortgage banks and housing finance institutions and transformation of micro finance banks.

Prior to his headship of specialist team responsible for the supervision of Housing and Mortgage Finance Institutions in Nigeria, Mr Adesemoye had served at technical level to anchor the CBN inputs at Presidential Committee on Affordable housing in 2007 and Housing /Mortgage finance committee of the FSS 2020 from 2007 to 20011. His portfolio and training in the past years has afforded him significant exposure at both domestic and international levels to be at the top on current issues of functional housing finance system. Beside Mr Adesemoye is a certified bank examiner and FDIC trained Examiner in Charge (EIC)and a product of international housing finance program of Wharton Executive program of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia USA. He has a good working knowledge of both domestic and international development partners.

Academically, he holds a Masters degree in Banking and Finance for Development from Milan, Italy on an international scholarship programme. He is currently enlisted in the International Ph.D programme (IPP) at University (Goethe Universitat) of Frankfurt, Germany, researching into ‘Corporate Ethics and Financial Sector Governance. He has attended several professional courses including World bank training, FDIC training in USA and Wharton International Housing Finance training of  University of Pennsylvania USA. Bolder institute of Microfinance, Colorado USA and Lancaster university trading on financial stability in UK. He is specialist in secondary mortgage institutions operations, regulation and supervision and very well focused on beneficial development of mortgage guarantees and securitization of mortgage cash flow receipts & technology.

Seun Oderinde - Hnd, BSc, MSc, ACMA, CGMA, FCCM, FCA

Seun Oderinde is a 2004 graduate of Accountancy and Finance from YABA COLLEGE of TECHNOLOGY in Lagos. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from Achievers University, Owo and a Master of Science degree in Corporate Governance from Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds in United Kingdom. An associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK, fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Certified Institute of Cost Management Nigeria (CICMN).

A seasoned professional, with over Fifteen years work experience at different levels of management. He has worked with Sparklight Group at different managerial positions before joining Technoglass Industries Limited in 2009 as the Group Head, Finance and Strategy. He later joined EVA Management and Professional Services as an Associate Director. He is currently with FMDQ as a senior executive consultant on secondment from EVA Management and Professional Services.

He is presently serving on the governing council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has served and still serving in several committees as Chairman, Deputy Chairman or Member. He is the pioneer and current chairman of the Editorial Board for “ICAN on Air” (ICAN online TV).  He is happily married and blessed with children.

Abimbola Adedokun

Abimbola Adedokun is a graduate of Pharmacology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria with a Second Class Upper division. She also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the same institution (University of Lagos) and became a Microfinance Certified Banker in year 2016.

Prior to joining Stallion Home Savings and Loan Limited (now Stallion Microfinance Bank Limited) as a Deputy Manager in year 2013, she worked in First Bank of Nigeria Plc. for over 10 years. While in First Bank, she rose from the post of a Supervisor in 1999 to an Assistant Banking Officer and worked in several departments which spanned across Customer Relationship Management, Credit Analysis, and Branch Management amongst others.

She has also attended various trainings in the course of her career.  She is presently an Executive Director with the bank. 

Olamide Adeyinka

Olamide Adeyinka is a graduate of Arts in Economics, Minor Legal Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, MA.  She received a double Masters in Business Administration and International Development & Social Change at Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.  She is a certified Project Management Professional at the Project Management Institute, Washington DC.  She has almost 10 years of working experience in the USA, West Africa, Middle East, North Africa and Asia. She formerly worked with Chemonics International, Inc. in Washington DC, as a Project Manager.  She also worked with the International Centre for Research on Women (ICRW) as a Project Manager in their Consulting and Advisory arm.

She is currently the Sparklight Group Executive Director (Strategy & Administration).  She is a member of Board of Trustees of Premier Poverty Alleviation Initiative (PPAI) and Stallion Microfinance Bank.

Omotunde Akindele

Omotunde Akindele is a vast entrepreneur with over forty years of experience in Education, Healthcare Counseling, Governmental Data Collection and Leadership Development. Her background consists of working with firms and government sector both in the United States and Nigeria.

She is highly qualified and educated as a clinical mental health case worker. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Minor in Psychology from Curry College USA.

Mrs. Akindele started her work career at Howard Johnson Hotel as a Manager from where she oversaw the operation of one of the busiest hotels located in Framingham Massachusetts business district, while in this position Mrs. Akindele liaised with corporate office regarding strategies to drive the growth of the hotel.

Upon relocating back to Nigeria in 1978 Mrs. Akindele worked at Government College Eric Moore, Surulere Lagos as a Business Methods & Commerce teacher. During her tenure, she presented the first set of students for Business Method and Commerce WASSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Exam). She was able to see her students graduate with honors and transition to their next phase of educational growth.

Mrs. Akindele decided to return back to NYSC to take a role as Inspector Deployment of Corpers in Ogun State Nigeria, where she held the role for over 5 years. She oversaw Data and Deployment of Corpers. This role saw her in creating methods of data capturing that helped streamline corper deployment in Lagos State.

Internationally, she has held several positions as a healthcare counselor within the state of Massachusetts, USA.  She has worked with University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Hospital as wells Worcester State Hospital. She held several senior roles within UMASS where she helped with creating a structure of how to manage human crisis and addiction issues. After 30 years as one of the top counselors, Mrs. Akindele retired to travel the world and spend time with her family. She presently consults for TobTos Reality Brokerage Company as a Real-Estate representative. She sits atop the Adeyinka Technical Institute, a private Vocational Institute set up to train the less-privileged youths in our society.

Agba Kenneth Chidi

Agba Kenneth Chidi hails from Imo State. He graduated from Imo State University, Owerri, where he had MBA in Marketing. He also had a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Management in University of Calabar; after his Higher National Diploma (HND) Marketing in Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri.

He has worked in several organizations amongst which are Adcoms Limited where he held the position of Marketing/Admin Manager for two years and later moved to Allstates Trust Bank Plc, as a Credit/Marketing Officer for three years.

Kenneth also worked with Equity Bank of Nig. Ltd as Credit/Marketing Officer for four years before moving to Intercontinental Bank Plc as a relationship Manager/Head Oil & Gas for four years. He was promoted to the branch manager, having contributed his quota to the growth of the bank.

Kenneth later proceeded to Seedvest Ltd where he worked as Senior Manager in a Finance House interfacing with potential investors offering them guidance on financial investment opportunities.

He also worked with Premier Poverty Alleviation Initiative where he held the position Chief Operating Officer (COO) granting soft loans to SMES.

Presently he is working as the Head Project Monitoring Reporting & Remediation Officer of NIRSAL, at CBN Marina, Lagos. Kenneth has attended several courses amongst which are Agriculture Value Chain Upgrade Services, Regional & Global Competitiveness, Agricultural Value Chains, Stakeholders’ and Capacity Development etc.

Kenneth has won several awards namely; the Best staff of the year in Allstates Trust Bank Plc 2001 and the Best staff at Equity Bank of Nig. Ltd in 2002. He has worked mainly in financial institutions and contributed immensely to all the organizations he has worked with.
